There is nowhere to hide when radical sorrow unravels the fabric of life.

Plunged into vast stillness. Liminal space. Suspended in the abyss. Sacred emptiness.

Through the anguish of loss, of our wounds, may grace teach us to soften into the pain and yield to the suffering. In this process, may we find compassion for, and solidarity with all suffering beings.

May the dismantling of our identity transform and replenish our fragile souls, and merge us with the mystery of the Divine.
